Indian Refractory Makers Association has been successfully organizing the India International Refractories Congress (IREFCON) for successive years. Over the years, IREFCON emerged as a unique rendezvous of refractories makers, raw material suppliers, steel and other user industries, technology solution providers etc. Today it stands as one of the most prominent happenings of the global refractories events calendar.

Buoyed by the success of IREFCON, a need was felt to organize a student version of the event where the focus would be to nurture fresh talents for the industry. Indian refractory industry is growing at a steady space for which it demands a steady supply of quality human resource.
